NH Jazz Presents : Live Jazz in Blackstones Lounge!

NH Jazz Presents is dedicated to the preservation and further evolution of live jazz music. On July 7th, 2011 NH Jazz presented its first show "Michael Zsoldos / Draa Hobbs Quartet" to an appreciative crowd of 65 listeners. Eight months and 35 shows later, NH Jazz has hosted performances by Yoron Israel, Kenny Werner, Delfeayo Marsalis, Harry Allen, Dave Liebman, Bub Gullotti, David Calarco, Joan Watson-Jones, Leo Blanco's World Jazz Quartet and many others. Performers have hailed from New England, New York City, New Orleans, Oregon, California, Ireland, Germany, Guinea and South Africa.

Beginning in June 2012, NH Jazz has a new home in Blackstone's Lounge at The Margate Resort, hosting top-shelf live jazz acts in an intimate jazz club atmosphere. The live shows feature some of the top jazz artists in the world, including Giacomo Gates, Judi Silvano and John Abercrombie. Produced by NH Jazz Presents, these performances have a concert listening policy, which prohibits talking, texting, cell phones, video/ audio recording, laptop computers, gaming units, and cameras during the performance.

General Admission ticket prices are $5.00 each. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres are provided throughout the show.
