Spa Etiquette
General Information :
The client is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe environment conducive to a spa service. It is recommended that each client shower before receiving a spa treatment.
We recommend not shaving immediately before any spa treatment as it may result in skin irritation. A service will not be given to a client who has undisclosed health conditions or has used illegal substances or alcohol. Certain services are restricted for pregnant women. Please check with a reservationist for details.
Inappropriate
conduct during any part of the service will terminate the session
immediately : full payment for scheduled services will apply, appropriate
management personnel will be notified and/or you may be denied future
services from The Bodywork Cafe.
Reservation Policy :
Reservation may be made by phone with a Margate Front Desk representative, or directly through The Bodywork Cafe. A credit card may be required to hold the appointment. Deposits may be required for group reservations.
Cancellation Policy :
We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel a scheduled appointment. A cancellation fee of 50% of scheduled service(s) will be charged if cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
If an appointment is cancelled within 4 hours of the appointment or if a spa technician arrives and the recipient is not available, 100% of the cost of the scheduled service(s) will be charged.
Timeliness :
Please allow 15 minutes before the treatment start time to set up. If a client arrives at or after the scheduled start time, this may result in a loss of treatment time.
Due to the commuting nature of this business, at times, unavoidable delays may arise from road conditions, weather, traffic, etc. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Modesty :
In
preparation for a spa treatment, please disrobe to your comfort level
after your therapist has left the room.
Age Requirement :
Clients age 18 years and older may enjoy all spa services available. Children 13 and older may receive spa services with parental permission and supervision.
Gratuity :
A customary 20% gratuity will be automatically added to all spa services for your convenience. Additional gratuity is at the discretion of the client.
Valuables :
We recommend storing your valuables in a safe place during your treatment. The Bodywork Cafe does not assume legal responsibility for any lost items.
